We built Oneline to protect your privacy by default. Here's exactly how we do it — in plain English.
Welcome to Oneline. We are a platform designed from the ground up with one non-negotiable principle: your privacy is not a feature, it's the foundation.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect (very little), how we use it (minimally), and what we don't collect (your identity). By using Oneline, you agree to the practices described in this document.
Unlike most platforms, Oneline collects almost nothing about you.
When you write and publish a public post on Oneline, the content of that post is stored on our servers solely for the purpose of displaying it to other users during its 72-hour window.
Each public post is associated with a randomly generated, temporary ghost handle (e.g., "Ghost #4821"). This handle:
Post content is stored in encrypted form on our servers while active. Once the 72-hour countdown expires, the content is permanently deleted through an automated process.
Every public post on Oneline has an expiration time of exactly 72 hours from the moment it's posted. This is not a soft delete or archive — it's permanent removal.
We operate on a rolling deletion cycle. Our systems check for expired posts every hour and permanently remove them. After this process runs, the post content does not exist anywhere in our infrastructure.
We do not offer — and cannot provide — post recovery after deletion. Once a post is gone, it's gone.
Private posts in Oneline are a device-local feature. When you write a post in Private mode:
If you clear your browser data, uninstall the app, or switch devices, private posts will be lost. Since they are not backed up to our servers, we cannot recover them.
Oneline uses a minimal cookie policy:
We use no third-party advertising scripts or marketing tracking tools on our platform.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not trade or barter any user information.
The very limited technical data we process may be shared with:
Oneline is not intended for users under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Since we collect no personal information from any user, we have no mechanism to verify age. We rely on users to comply with this requirement. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child is misusing Oneline, please contact us.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights under data protection laws (such as GDPR or CCPA). However, since Oneline does not collect personal data linked to identifiable individuals, most of these rights are satisfied by design:
If you have a specific concern or request, please contact us at the address below. We'll respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll provide a visible notice on the app or website.
We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Oneline after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
By accessing or using Oneline, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform.
You agree not to use Oneline to:
While Oneline provides anonymous posting, you are still responsible for the content you post. Anonymity is a shield for privacy — not a license for harm.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice. We may also ban sessions that engage in repeated harmful behavior.
Oneline is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free. We are not liable for any loss of content resulting from server issues or the 72-hour deletion process.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oneline and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Thank you for trusting Oneline with your anonymous expression. Your freedom to speak — without consequence, without identity — is something we take seriously.
